MESA7

Mesa 7, is a women-owned media collective that builds collaborative teams around the world to create dynamic, visual media-forward campaigns. Our journalistic foundation brings a unique prospective to our work which has been shaped by 20+ years documenting social issues throughout the world.

The name Mesa7- is symbolic of a shared passion for storytelling rooted in establishing genuine connections. We visualize the heart of the home -la mesa, the table/the kitchen as a place where real discussions about the realities individuals and families face can be discussed. The number 7 represents the preamble of the UN ‘Universal Declaration of Human Rights’ - the most translated document in human history.

Mesa 7’s global teams regularly produce work for organizations such as the UN, NPR, the Human Rights Campaign and the Hewlett Foundation. We have created projects for major governmental and NGO clients including the World Bank, UNICEF, the American Red Cross, USAID and the ACLU, as well as the world’s leading news publications such as National Geographic, The New York Times, The Washington Post, Al Jazeera, The Wall Street Journal and The Guardian.

These collaborations have taught us the value of clear lines of communication and engaged teamwork. We are problem solvers. Our extensive experience in the industry provides us with the tools to stay flexible and maneuver quickly through unforeseen issues while maintaining high standards and turning projects around quickly. We respect our clients’ time and we always make our deadlines. This rare combination of hard work and creative vision has won our team countless industry honors.

We are passionate about using the craft of visual storytelling as a tool to communicate the most vital issues of today. We are committed to informing and engaging the public through documentation that tells individuals stories with dignity and respect.
